The Cass County Historical Society Photograph Collection reflects the donation of visual images to the society over many years. The photographs document the history and development of Cass County, spanning from its early years in the 1880s into the 1950s. The images cover the cities and towns in the county, its residents, agriculture, as well as the business and social life in the county. Also represented are images of North Dakota State University, Fargo College and Charles Retzlaff. The collection does include photographs of other areas of North Dakota, although on a very limited basis.
